- We are in Fortaleza, Brazil for 2 months collaborating with local researchers on a huge research study looking into diarrheal disease prevention in children who live in the favelas. It was shown that diarrheal disease in young children leads to developmental delays and drops their IQ up to 10 points. Our job is to help out the local team with whatever they need.
