Observations

What’s better than a hybrid? A few days ago, we passed a donkey-drawn cart, which was in the left lane of a major road.

Time. Brazilian time is magic. You are never late because no matter how late you show up, you are never the last one thru the door. It’s really ironic that the city bus slogan is On Time. They must have forgotten to tell the drivers, who always seem in a hurry but never on schedule.

Beer. It doesn’t get better than when its served ice cold (and we do mean frozen into ice, none of that cold-like-the-Rockies mumbo jumbo). It thaws while you eat dinner, preferably fresh garlic-fried shrimp at a seaside restaurant. $6 per person.

Fortaleza sunset – priceless, albeit 2 bus rides away.
